Current Teaching Role
What you believe matters most in schooling
There are always new trends in teaching, but the one that stays constant is the need for building positive relationships and learning to work together. Building positive relationships is a skill that is needed in all aspects of life, no matter your age.
What you believe matters most in education
I believe that the most important thing in education is a safe and positive learning environment. No matter what students are learning, they will be more successful if they feel safe to make mistakes and become engaged in their learning.
What you like most about KBS
I love the professional and positive community that is KBS. From the board, to the staff and families, there is a sense of community. Everyone works together to support each other and ensure the students are getting the best education possible.
Hobbies and Interests
In my free time enjoy doing metcon and kickboxing, but am also happy crocheting, reading or looking for new and fun ways to engage my students.
