Teaching Experience

I began here at KBS as a supply teacher for the first 2 years before becoming the Senior Kindergarten Assistant for 2 years. After that, I taught Grade 3 for 9 years and am now back in Senior Kindergarten for my second year as the Senior Kindergarten Teacher.

Providing students with the necessary work habits and skills to be successful and self sufficient as they move through the years.

What You Believe Matters Most in Education

Engaging students in a positive classroom setting through numerous activities and experiences that get students motivated and interested in lessons. Students are not going to retain and understand the knowledge being taught if they are not engaged and active in the learning. Education needs to be positive and exciting.

What You Like Most About KBS

KBS is a place where students feel safe and secure because of the faculty and staff’s commitment to teaching character and promoting those traits each and every day. I love that the staff is committed to working together to ensure that we all promote and support our community of students.

Hobbies & Interests

I have a niece and nephew who I spend a lot of my spare time with, as I don’t have children of my own. I enjoy being an auntie and don’t usually go more than a week without seeing them. I’m also a big sports fan so enjoy going to and watching most sports.
