What You Believe Matters Most in Schooling

I believe that allowing equal access to education is imperative. As a learning strategist, my goal is to remove barriers to learning so that all students have an equal opportunity to be successful. Through the use of technology, Universal Design for Learning, and effective tools and learning strategies, every student can, and will thrive.

What You Believe Matters Most in Education

I believe learning through a variety of authentic experiences is the key to education. Through the use of inquiry, problem-solving, and project-based learning, students will acquire valuable, transferable skills.

What You Like Most About KBS

KBS feels like a family. We are a small community who care deeply about our children and their education. We know each student personally, and this creates a strong connection between faculty and students, creating lifelong bonds.

Hobbies & Interests

I am an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoy hiking, backcountry camping, biking, scuba diving and kayaking. In the winter, I like to snowshoe through the many trails in Simcoe County, or downhill ski. One of my favourite pastimes is spending time with my family at the cottage, playing board games, and relaxing at the beach. I enjoy road trips, and believe that travelling is the best teacher; it fosters open-minded thinking, cultural understanding, and a global perspective through rich, diverse experiences.
