The second is to hire a Head of School who supports the mission of the school and who is in charge of the day-to-day operation of the school, including all matters related to faculty and student performance and safety.
The third function is to practice the legal and ethical fiduciary responsibility required of a non-profit organization to ensure the financial matters of the school are properly conducted and monitored. The school undergoes an audit of its operations annually, and financial statements are made available to the members of the community.
The Board of Directors operates several committees on which parental participation is encouraged. These are comprised, but not limited to Marketing, Property, Finances, Strategic Planning and Board Governance.
The Board of Directors meets monthly and correspondence to them may be directed through the school by addressing it to the Chair of the Board.
