About Darby Briggs

Darby Briggs joined the Kempenfelt Bay School team as the Manager of Admissions in April 2022. With a diploma in Corporate Communications and over 20 years in education, marketing, administration and HR, Darby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to KBS. 

As an independent school graduate herself, she knows the value of an independent school education. She has worked with many Ontario Independent Schools in Marketing, Parent & Alumni Relations and IT, as well as with CAIS (Canadian Accredited Independent Schools). She lives in nearby Angus with her husband and two crazy but lovable dogs, and is an active volunteer in the community.

Darby has a passion for helping families find the right fit for their children, and truly believes that the education students receive at KBS inspires and empowers them to do great things in the future. She looks forward to meeting the families at KBS and is thrilled to be a part of this dynamic and welcoming community!
